Rushes Lake

Rushes is a 10 acre lake situated in 17 acres of beautiful countryside. The whole complex is surrounded by trees making it very private and peaceful. The adjacent areas to Rushes are farmlands so there is absolutely no disturbance to your trip. We pride ourselves on the fact we are a premier runs water for both carp and cats.

Our mission is to implement all modern facilities to make an customers experience one that they will never forget. To create an environment with all the creature comforts, including the kitchen sink!

All our swims are gravelled so you will always stay clean and dry, including your gear. Huts have been constructed close by that offer power, extra storage, fridges, kettles and Wifi.

We believe our food package is worth every euro! It is all made from quality fresh ingredients and the portions are generous too. Nothing from packets here at Rushes. Breakfasts are delivered to your swims and evening meals served piping hot from the terrace overlooking the lake, making for a good social and catch up*.

We are working hard on our stock weights and levels, creating the right balance so as an angler you have a good haul of high 20’s, 30’s and 40’s but with a huge chance of a bucket list 50! It is also not unheard of for a group to have a haul over 250 fish in a week.

If you are looking for a venue where you can bring non anglers and want to venture away from the complex, there are many places to choose. We are only 30mins drive from the famous Le Mans and if you fancy somewhere a bit further afield, just a 50 min train ride from Les Mans you can be in the heart of Paris. 2 hours North you also have incredible beaches.

*Apart from the first Saturday’s evening meal which is served at your swim allowing you to continue fishing after setting up.
